'Choban' is the Turkish word for shepherd. Our handwoven black and white striped hand towels are made from 50% cotton and 50% linen giving them a luxurious heavier feel, while retaining absorbant qualities and softness. They are made on handlooms in a village in Anatolia and each fringe is hand tied by a team of women.
